Song of the day: Momoiro Clover Z - Xiao Yi Xiao

Guess who's back? It's ya girl Lizzie, comin' at ya straight from my study hall! That's right, two blog posts in one day! I ended up petting that kid's dog because it was so adorable. Also, like I talked about yesterday with the watch party, everybody has World Cup fever right now, and I somehow got swept into it. Right now, I'm rooting for Canada, then England, then France, in order of preference. Also, I quite like Australia as well, so that's #4. And of course, I still care whether or not the players are hunky.

Anyways, though I was dreading stoichiometry (or however you spell that) in chemistry, but actually, it's not too bad! Though I do wish we could've spent the entire block balancing equations. And if you've read my entire Opinions page for some reason, then you'll know that I have a little beef with iCloud, which has been exacerbated a little today, because something I have to work on didn't freaking sync between my iMac and my MacBook because iCloud is being freaking annoying. Also, tangentially related, but I swear sometimes in real life, but I'm trying to stop that, because I want to (aside, of course, from the occasional dose of sarcasm) be kinder and bubblier and happier. Anyways, ramble over. TTYL!

Song of the day: Momoiro Clover Z - Xiao Yi Xiao

Good morning, all y'all! It's been a while since I did a morning blog post. I'm currently in my Independent Psych block, and finished all the work due through tomorrow, as well as my calculus homework that's totally due today that I thought was due tomorrow because I forgot my schedule yet again! Anyways, I totally want to work on my site more, but I don't have the time right now because school is gearing up for finals!

On top of that, I don't have any finals study guides yet, which scares me. Apparently, we're also going to be doing stuff in psychology right up until the end of the week right before finals, which also scares me. I really hope teachers get out study guide soon and wrap up our current units, because I really need to start studying but don't have a lot of time with all the work I currently have to do. So yeah.

Though to be fair, I at least have some finals that I already feel good on. Once I get the French study guide, I probably won't need too long to study for that, since I'm doing well, and same with psychology. (Though the aforementioned doing stuff until the last minute is worrying me! Honestly, the main one I'm kinda worried about are calculus, because this new unit is kinda weird. Though to be fair, they say your predicted performance on the final is roughly the average of your performance on previous tests, which would average out to be a low-mid A, I think.

Also, rock and roll is concerning me slightly, because I don't know some of the random things on the study guide draft we made in class. Thankfully, however, I have a good grade in the class, and the final project is going to account for a lot of the grade on the final portion. Speaking of, I should probably work a little on that, so I'll resume my ramblings later or whatever. Also, some sophomore randomly brought his dog to school, and it's so cute! I hope to get a dog soon. :) Anyways, toodles for now!

Song of the day: Twice - Like Ooh Ahh

Today was both interesting and boring. This guy I kinda sorta have a crush on was wearing a Christmas sweater, which made him look handsomer than normal. :) (If you're from my school and reading this, please, for your and mostly for my sake, pretend you have zero clue who I'm talking about.) Also, this morning, my calculus teacher randomly mentioned to my AP Lang teacher that I'm reading Pride and Prejudice, and we had a little chit-chat about that. Anyways, during the last period and part of sixth block, there was a World Cup watch party in the performing arts centre that some teachers let their students go to. Green and I went for five minutes, and I only cared about whether or not the players were handsome, because I'm not a sports girl.

Anyways, when we went to the library, we had Chicken McNuggets and fries that we got from McDonald's because we had points expiring soon, and before even getting out the car, my mum lost had her keys and we had to look around for a while, which was super fun.

Anyways, that's today. I'll talk to all y'all tomorrow!

Song of the day: Ori - It's Snowing

So I didn't do a blog post yesterday because I got home at 9:45 PM! We went down to my mum's family's house for Thanksgiving II: Eclectic Boogaloo. My three cousins fought over who would get to sit next to me for nearly the entire duration of our visit. In the morning, they made me play Minecraft with them (which reminded me how intensely I hate Minecraft: Pocket Edition), and balked when I suggested doing anything other than sitting and staring at a screen, and none of them (at least, the two that can read) like to read outside of school, which is very weird coming from my family, where we are all bibliophiles, especially my mum and myself.

We then had mac and cheese, rolls, and turkey, and some other stuff, for lunch, and my littlest cousin made me look at a moth on the wall. In the afternoon, we faffed about inside for a while, and then my little cousins made me play Superhero Among Us outside with them, which was doubly perplexing for me since I haven't seen any superhero films aside from the Incredibles and the Incredibles II, and I've never played Among Us.

After that, I went driving out on the country roads! I only killed the engine thrice, and two of those were one right after the other. Also, I only spun out (is that what you call it? When you go too fast and kick up a little gravel) a couple of times: once when I was doing a tight three-point turn on a narrow country road, once when I turned too fast in the cemetery parking lot and kicked up a little dirt (my grandpa's caretaker of the local cemetery), and once or twice when I was starting up on a steep slope after stopping. Anyways, I feel like I'm much better than I was. Maybe I'll get my licence soon!

Anyways, we then went back and had dinner, and sat around talking until my parents and I left at 8. We also lost 15 minutes because we had to turn around, since my mum forgot her purse. Anyways, we got home way late. Today was pretty boring. I finished all my homework during my study hall, and had therapy after school. But I lost half of that appointment, since my therapist had a calendar issue, so she was about thirty minutes late.

So yeah, that's been today and yesterday. I'll talk to all y'all tomorrow!

Song of the day: Blity - Thump Thump

Guess who went on a shopping spree today? My mother and I spent an afternoon out on the town, "the town" meaning two grocery stores, the drive-up spot of the public library and then the mall. At the first grocery store, we ran into my aunt and uncle who live a while out of town, and I hid my purse because nobody in my family knows I'm not cishet, and then we had some pleasant chit-chat. We ended up buying two Asian soups: yakisoba and udon, both from Annie Chun's. I had the yakisoba with my sandwich tonight for dinner, and it was great! After getting some prescriptions filled, we picked up some books for the library and headed to the mall.

We started by going to my favourite CD store. I bought a Reba McEntire CD and season 3 of Reba on DVD. There were a tonne of k-pop albums, including a Girls' Generation Forever 1 album, but since I already have that on iTunes, it wouldn't be worth much to get it physically. They bought some PlayStation and X-Box games back from us that we got somehow, and we got like $30 in store credit! We then headed to some ajcket store, which charged $85 for a plain white hoodie, and then went to GameStop. There, we got a download code for Stardew Valley, which my friend recommended to me.

Anyways, after that, my mum and I went to Barnes & Noble, where we both went a little overboard. We spent $120 or so. I got a nice copy of Pride and Prejudice, and some royal biographies, and she got a bunch of stuff. We got these little reading diaries, which were free if you bought $20 or more. If you can't tell, we both love books. Thankfully, we were able to use a rewards account, so it cost less than it would've. Anyways, there were two really handsome guys who worked there! And of course, me being me, I embarrassed myself in front of one. I was reading the back of some trashy "romance" novel (note the air quotes - it was basically just Adultery: The Novel!) to see how bad it was, and this super handsome guy who worked there passed me by, and he ended up as my mother's cashier, and now I'm terrified that this handsome guy I'll probably never see again thinks badly of me.

Anyways, after that, we got some stuff at another grocery store for Thanksgiving Part II tomorrow, and then went home. I also got some good writing done today. Anyways, I'm gonna go play Stardew Valley. I'll talk to all y'all tomorrow!

Song of the day: Sistar - Lonely

Hey! I totally meant to do this post earlier for once, but such is life, I guess. On the upside, I did get a lot of writing done today! I carved out about two hours of time in the evening, and spent about an hour and a half writing, with my iPod in the iPod dock I bought a while back. And to prevent distractions, I was writing on my family's old laptop that's not on-line, so I couldn't putz around. I ended up writing 900 words or something like that, which is like two and a half times what I did yesterday. I did accidentally make the computer bluescreen once, when I tried to open the archive of my old Miiverse account that I had on my flash drive, and I had to figure out Microsoft Office (yes, it has Clippy), so that took some time.

Anyways, after yesterday, I've been lounging around most of the day. I did take a walk today, which I normally do, though I didn't have time yesterday, since my mother and I watched the Thanksgiving episode of Gilmore Girls when I would've gone on my walk, and then we had to go to my family's and then it got dark, so yeah. I also started on the English project that's due in a few weeks. Also, in other news, Verivery got their second win today! Even if they thought the first one on Show Champion was a fluke, this one on Music Bank, which is apparently very hard to win, certainly wasn't. :D I hope this will open up new opportunities for Verivery! :D

Anyways, that's all of the interesting stuff that's happened today off the top of my head. I sometimes forget stuff for these posts, which is really annoying. Anyways, I'll talk to all y'all tomorrow. Good night!

Song of the day: S.E.S. - Dreams Come True

Hey, all y'all! I'm typing this on the way home from my grandparents' house. Once again, we stayed out until well after 9:00 PM, whilst I like to be home by 8:30, and I like to start my night routine at 10:15, so I won't have much time in between, but oh well. Anyways, happy Thanksgiving to all y'all who are American! I hope we've all taken today to be thankful for all the blessings in our lives and to celebrate with family, because I know I have. :)

Anyways, today we went to my dad's family's house, and I know I ate more than my fair share. I didn't have one of those post-Thanksgiving naps, though. And I had some nice conversation with family members, sharing stories and stuff like that, which is always one of my favourite parts of family gatherings.

And anyways, now we're driving home now, and I was just listening to Dreams Come True by S.E.S. and it was foggy outside, and there was a certain interesting ambience to it. Anyways, I pretty much know that I want for Christmas. I'd've sent it to my grandparents by now, but my mother says she has a few other ideas she wants to put on the list, so yeah. Anyways, once again, happy thanksgiving, and I'll talk to all y'all tomorrow! :D

Song of the day: Verivery - Tap Tap

So, when I woke up this morning, before I even logged onto my computer, I got the notification that VERIVERY GOT THEIR FIRST WIN!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT! I'm so happy for them all and so proud of them, almost four years after debut! :D As someone who's been a Verrer almost since their debut era (I became a Verrer in March 2019), I feel so happy! And it's a little bonus for me, a light-concept Verrer at heart, that they got it in a bright era. Here's the video!

Anyways, I forgot to mention that yesterday, my mother had a library programme and my MacBook unfortunately wouldn't connect to the wireless Internet, so I had to use one of the free library PCs, which run (ugh) Windows 10! And the only programmes were Web browsers, Office and Microsoft Paint. I also realized how long it's been since I used Windows 10 by the learning curve! And also, I realized that compared to Apple Pages, Microsoft Word sucks butt. Anyways, I finally got some more work done today! I did some calc I had to do. So yeah. Anyways, I'll talk to all y'all tomorrow. Good night!

Song of the day: CSR - (Love)ticon (sorry I don't have the Unicode thingy LOL)

Today was another day. Yup. And sadly, I didn't get anything done today whatsoever, at least in terms of homework. Anyways, I just faffed about. I had a little dance party this morning! And this evening, at dinner, my parents and I were chatting with a friend (mostly my parents) and my mother revealed a story that I'd hitherto never heard of in my life. Apparently, when I was a little child, my grandparents visited one day, and I answered the door, and said in a very annoyed tone: "Aw hell, they're here." My grandparents got a kick out of telling that to my mum, and I got a huge kick out of that, and was giggling all the way home. So yeah, today was boring. Let's hope I do some stuff tomorrow. I'll talk to all y'all tomorrow, and good night!

Song of the day: Twice - Knock Knock

Once again, a pretty boring day today. I had another sandwich for lunch, and tried to get the TV working for ages, but the Internet didn't work, so I had to eat my lunch (I'm one of those weirdos who doesn't like eating lunch without watching something) whilst watching a DVD on my computer, because not even the DVD player with the TV was working. But yeah, it's been boring, I guess. I finally started working on actual homework! Look who's being productive? Anyways, yeah, that's my day. Good night, and I'll talk to y'all tomorrow, and hopefully work some more on my site!

Song of the day: Momoiro Clover Z - Hashire! (Play Active! 2022 Version)

This morning I got my second COVID booster! And thankfully, the only side effect that I've had has been a bit of a sore arm. Anyways, today I learned the true extent of my hubris! On my daily walk, I came upon a frozen lake. It was 6 degrees Celsius, so above freezing, and I knew that it wouldn't be prudent to stand on it, but I did anyways. I was at least cautious, only standing on the very edge where it was just a few inches deep, but still, I suffered the consequences, and had a cold, wet right foot all the way home. And then I had a sandwich (with avocado!) for dinner. Anyways, that's pretty much all for today, since I'm on holiday, so my life isn't super duper exciting, which is a good thing to me. Anyways, I'll talk to all y'all tomorrow. Good night!

Song of the day: Blackpink - As If It's Your Last

I started working on my rock n roll final project today! We have to make a one-hour radio show about a topic of our choosing, and I've chosen my favourite k-pop throughout the years. I mean, by "started working on", I mean I made the Garageband project and all that, but yeah. And I've written a lot! We also went to Cracker Barrel for my dad's birthday. Unfortunately, I didn't see the handsome camo boy from last time again, but oh well. I did spot some really cute decor! And I've been doing quite a bit of writing today. Though sadly I do have some writer's block. But yeah, it's been a pretty uneventful day. Good night y'all, and I'll talk to all y'all tomorrow!

Song of the day: DIA - Will You Go Out With Me?

Today was my school's reading extravaganza! We did sessions this morning of different mini-classes. I chose to do origami (taught by a student but supervised by my chem teacher), yoga (my aunt would be so proud), and then helped with a service activity with my house (because we do that) and somehow got mixed up into a crowd of middle schoolers, and then did hygge (some Scandinavian word about comfort), where we had cocoa and read, and then I had silent reading. In the afternoon, I went with some people from my grade to the local Ronald McDonald House and cleaned and stuff, and on the way back, I rode with my teacher, and we talked about k-pop and listened to Girls' Generation.

Anyways, there's this guy I know that I have a pretty big crush on. I think I've mentioned him here before, but yeah, he is like super handsome! And he's intelligent and kind, and oh my gosh. But there's like no way that he'd date me, which sucks, but oh well. Why am I talking about this? I don't know. Anyways, that's all for now. Good night, and I'll talk to all y'all tomorrow!

Song of the day: Girls' Generation - Visual Dreams

Guess who had her first therapy appointment today? I got to know my therapist, and thankfully, she was really cool about my being trans, which was nice. School was boring, I guess. This evening, we had our annual fundraiser dinner thing at the school. I stayed with my parents for a while, and ended up going around with Pink (aka gay best friend) for a while, since Blue and Green weren't there. We ended up meeting up with my old frenemies, as well as a girl who use to go to my school that I'm pretty cool with (hey Abby if you're reading this! I know she's seen my site before) and this other person who also used to go here. We played never have I ever with some other people in the bathroom for a while, and then went to the student lounge, where most of the other people talked about certain details of their personal life (none of which I ever cared to know!!) and I sat there awkwardly. So yeah, that was my day! Pretty weird. I'll talk to all yall tomorrow, and good night!

Song of the day: Girls' Generation - Visual Dreams

Today has been pretty meh. I finished all but one page of my calc exam, so I'll do that tomorrow, as well as my chem exam, and I think I've done pretty much all the studying I can, especially for the former. I'll probably still study some for chemistry, though. Anyways, there was snow (and accumulation!!) but alas, no snow day. It was really nice and gloomy all day, though! Also, speaking of chemistry, there's only one person I know of that actually knows all the compounds. Oy.

Anyways, at lunch today, there was a bake sale, like there was yesterday, at lunch, and both days my guy best friend (who shall henceforth on this blog be referred to as Green because I feel like "my guy best friend" is too cumbersome a turn of phrase) bought me and Blue (aka girl best friend) brownies! And lunch today was spaghetti and garlic bread, so that was really great. :)

So yeah, that was my day today. I don't think it was as terrific as yesterday, but it was still pretty good. Talk to all y'all tomorrow!

Song of the day: Verivery - Tap Tap

So today has, for the most part, been a really good day! Verivery released their new single, and it's amazing!! Expect a review soon! But for now: TAP TAP IS SO AMAZING!!! And Motive is really sonically interesting. Anyways, as it turns out, I got 23/25 on that chem quiz, and I don't feel prepared for the test, because he won't let us use our little sheets! And none of us feel properly confident! Maybe he should help us instead of just saying that it's "on us". But anyways, our college counselor got our ACT scores back today, and guess what? "What?" (that's you, presumably, dear reader. Okay, I turned into Jane Eyre, I'm going to stop now.) Out of 36, I got (somehow), on my first try, a 34!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER HAVE TO RETAKE IT OR TAKE LIKE ANY OTHER UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAM!

Ahem.

Anyways, I called my grandma right after to give the good news, and decided to wait until my mum picked me up (because ya girl can't drive) to tell her, but my grandma went ahead and put it on Facebook. Go figure. Anyways, my chem test was pushed back to Wednesday, and my calculus teacher is letting us split the test over two days! And today has just, overall, been a pretty good day, I guess. And it's snowing, and hopefully, we'll get a late start or something! This afternoon, I did a Discord call with two of my best friends, which soon degraded into each of us looking through our old Tumblr reblogs.

So yeah, that was my day. Pretty neat! Anyways, let's hope I do well on those tests, and I'll see all y'all tomorrow. Good night!

Song of the day: T-Ara - Roly Poly

I've been doing quite a bit of studying today! I've studied probably half of the calculus, so there's that. And I did most of that at my family's house, where I had a tonne of soup, half a sandwich and some cake! And my grandma gave me some advice on telling the principal about the stuff my chemistry teacher does, speaking from experience of when my dad and his siblings' teachers weren't up to squat. So that inspired me to hopefully actually round up my classmates and all that! Beyond that, I just hope I can get all the studying I need to do done tomorrow, and succeed on my tests. Let's go!

Anyways, that's all for tonight. See y'all tomorrow!

Song of the day: MINX - Love Shake

So I've been studying quite a bit today! But I'm not in Bummerville as much as I was last week, and my ear isn't really ringing much right now! I think I'm pretty well prepared for chemistry, and somewhere between meh and pretty good for calculus, so I'm probably going to study more for that. Also, I went to Culver's for the first time ever today! My dad insisted, saying it was better than McDonald's, and I guess it is? But I'm not sure. It was pretty decent. And I also had to pick up the calculus book I left in my mum's car from her work. And there were flurries today! So it was kind of, almost the first "snow" (I use that term very lightly) of the winter! It was below freezing all day, I believe. So yeah.

Anyways, that's all for tonight. See y'all tomorrow!

Song of the day: Taeyeon - Weekend

I feel less stressed somehow! Though today was somewhat sucky, since my chem teacher went back on his (e-mailed, so there's documentation) word about the extension he was going to give us, which sucks, but I got it done anyways. And the multiple choice question on AP Classroom for English, which means that I only have to do a page or two of psych notes, and of course, study. Ugh. Oh well - less than a week until my stress over these two tests will be over, and I'll be able to relax more!

Anyways, that's all for tonight. See y'all tomorrow!

Song of the day: Karen Mok - Empty World

I volunteered at a local dumpling festival tonight! I was there for four hours, and helped set up and serve, and helped clean up, and got a lovely Chinese dinner as a benefit! My guy best friend and girl best friend volunteered with me, and it was super fun. There were also some Chinese student from a nearby university who volunteered, and before we started serving, we got some pork dumplings, cabbage salad, seaweed and edamame beans, which were all great! Especially the dumplings and salad. I actually hadn't had proper dumplings before, only the "chicken 'n' dumplins'" variety, nor had I had cabbage salad or seaweed! So I think I'll be making a visit to the Asian grocery store soon.

Anyways, they also had some lovely entertainment, including a bunch of singers, who sang, including other songs, the song of the day today! There was also an interpretive dance, which was lovely, and some other stuff. And my French teacher showed up and ate, which was pretty interesting! We also got almond cookies and took a lovely photo afterwards, and got invited up on stage. And one of the students from the university was pretty handsome. Anyways, we were able to get an extension on our chemistry take-home quiz because of the volunteering, at least. I hope I'll do well on the test that's soon! I'm pretty stressed. I think that's what's making my ear ring, which is a thing, apparently. So yeah, I hope that goes away soon!

Anyways, that's all for tonight. See y'all tomorrow!

Song of the day: The Ark - The Light

As I'm writing this on my cell phone, I'm laying on the couch with hydrogen peroxide bubbling in my ear. And why? Because for the past couple days, my right ear has been ringing and I heard this is a good way to unclog the ear. And this stuff is fuzzy! Seriously, it sounds like there's a Coca-Cola factory in my ear. Let's hope this works!

Anyways, today's been kinda boring. I took my psych test at the same time as my friend who was absent yesterday (youth election volunteering) and the two of us, along with my girl best friend, all got different questions wrong, but got the same score! (Well, my girl best friend got one point less, but still.)

Anyways, the stuff should be draining out of my ear right now! It's not much better yet, but it's been like three minutes. I'm feeling kind of burnt out lately. Ugh. Anyways, toodles!

Update 9:54 PM: it didn't make it entirely better! It's at least somewhat better, though, which is a start I guess. But I should probably ask my doctor or something.

Song of the day: Taeyeon - Voice

Today has been pretty boring, I guess. Pretty much everything went as normal 100%, I guess. My chem teacher gave us three worksheets for tomorrow and said "do as much as you can" and I didn't have time to do much, so oh well. I'm going to do my psych test tomorrow last period during my study hall, so I hope that goes well! But beyond that, not much really happened. There was one incident where I left my iPhone on my desk in English towards the end of our mid-block break, and then realized when I was in the bathroom, so I had to race back to hide that back in my locker. But yeah, today's been boring. It has been nice and cloudy, though!

So anyways, that's pretty much all for tonight, and I'll talk to all y'all tomorrow. Good night!

Song of the day: S.E.S. - Love (Story)

Somehow, I feel kinda overwhelmed even though I haven't had a tonne of work today. I'm going to take my psych test on Wednesday, since I don't have any free time tomorrow. And my chem teacher is making us learn a bunch of polyatomic atoms by beating them into our heads. So that sucks, I guess. I just had deja vu.

Anyways, two weird things happened today. I won't say one, since it involved this guy I have a crush on and I don't wanna talk too much about him here because somehow, someday everyone from my school is probably gonna find this site (besides my guy best friend and my girl best friend, who I showed this to when I came out as trans to them) and I don't want any chance of them guessing which guy I have a crush on.

Anyways, the other one happened during my study hall, when my girl best friend started singing Into The New World by Girls' Generation, which is one of my favourite songs ever, so I stood up and starting dancing to the choreography, and it was only after a few seconds that my best friends pointed out to me that a girl was watching me from the student lounge through a window. So I turned and gave her an awkward wave, and then died of embarrassment. Such is life, I guess. Anyways, as my final thing for today, I want to show all y'all this video by Jordan Sweeto, one of my favourite singers! Seriously, he's so underrated!

So anyways, that's pretty much all for tonight, and I'll talk to all y'all tomorrow. Good night!

Song of the day: Dia - Can't Stop (E905)

Alas, the three-day weekend is over. I'm done with all my homework, and I've studied quite a lot for my psych test, but I still don't really feel ready to take it on Tuesday. I mean, I won't be able to anyways, since I don't have any free periods on Tuesday, but yeah. Still, this is very much a beat-it-into-your-brain sort of unit. Anyways, today was a pretty usual day. That extra hour of sleep last night did not go unappreciated, and I was so cozy in my bed when I woke up!

Anyways, this afternoon, my parents and I went on some errands. We stopped by Staples, and only my mum went in (which is probably for the best, since I would've bought quite a bit of stuff). By the way, I miss the Office Depot in my town! Anyways, after that we went to Lowe's to get some taps for my bathroom, because the two in there are freaking disintegrating somehow?!? And I gleefully skipped over to the As-Seen-On-TV section for some reason, and inspected the products there, and also sniffed some lumber because I like the way lumber smells.

Anyways, after that, my mum and I went to the library to finish a scavenger hunt they have there, and we got two coupons for a little prepackaged treat from there for completing plus a rubber bookmark, which is good for me since paper bookmarks break way too easily for me! And we got entered into prize drawings. Anyways, I saw this super handsome guy on the trail today! But I didn't get the courage up to introduce myself, partially because he was having his photograph taken. But yeah, I had to take my walk early because daylight savings. And since my earbuds broke yesterday, I'm using some Skullcandy over-the-ears with my iPod now.

So anyways, that's pretty much all for tonight, and I'll talk to all y'all tomorrow. Good night!

Song of the day: Sistar - Loving U

Good evening y'all! I totally forgot that I was about to go to bed, so sorry if it's a little rushed but oh well. Anyways, today is the last day before daylight savings, so no more waking up before dawn. It always has a nice ambience, but I do like being able to actually see as I make my downstairs in the morning. Anyways, today I had a little iTunes shopping spree, and got some songs that I've been wanting to buy for a long time! I just asked my mom and she said that I could have $12 worth of music, which is kind of confusing because I thought it would take more convincing, but oh well. We also went to get our flu shots, and I learned that the grocery store we go to has three different places for cheese. Three! Ugh. And of course I've had to do homework today, and I didn't get as much work on my site done and is much writing done as I would've liked. :( but there's always tomorrow!

So anyways, that's pretty much it for today. Good night!

Song of the day: H.O.T. - Full of Happiness

Happy Friday to all y'all, and happy day off to me! As I sit here, I'm treating myself to some ice cream! I haven't done any homework whatsoever today, and also haven't done much writing, so in the short time before I'm going to bed, I'm going to fix that, God willing. I really need to study for psych! Beyond that, it's been nice and cloudy, and started raining lightly a little bit ago, so that's lovely! I also created a new e-mail, so please please e-mail me here! Anyways, I watched some Perfect Strangers with my lunch, read some, and faffed around. Plus, I took an extra long walk, which you can see me talk about into the video below!

So yeah, that's pretty much it for today. Good night!

Song of the day: Weki Meki - Butterfly

My Latin test this morning went pretty well! Except for one question, which hopefully isn't worth too much! I also started to study for my psychology test, which is on Tuesday, and I have not done so hot so far. I guess I'll have to study quite a bit! Ugh. Anyways, I feel like I use the Net too much, mostly because of all the Web 2.0 crap, so I'm going to try and use it less. I lay on the couch for a while just listening to my music and not surfing the Web, so that's a start! And I want to start getting in bed earlier. Maybe I'll just start trying to better myself overall! Anyways, that's it for now since I'm boring. See all y'all later!

So yeah, that's pretty much it, I guess. Toodles till tomorrow! (Ooh, alliteration!)

Song of the day: A-PRINCE - My Lady

So random disappointment of the day: I miss e-mail! I remember e-mailing back and forth with my grandma when I was little, and with my friends back in 6th grade, when not everyone had cell phones and we hadn't discovered G-chat yet. But the other day I e-mailed a meme to my friends, and I don't even know if either of them saw it! And texting is too impermanent and too short-form for me. I'd put my e-mail address here, but it includes my full name and I don't want to doxx myself. But yeah, I really miss e-mail!

Anyways, apparently we might get soe of that super-fast fibre Internet soon! They're running it through our neighbourhood right now (which eans there's some mounds of dirt all about from them digging) and apparently the prices are really good! I wonder if it'll be more reliable than this CenturyLink rubbish we have now. Anyways, today's been pretty boring. Somehow, I ended up getting 23/22 on my chem test! And I turned in my essay a day early, so that's done with. It's been a boring day.

So yeah, that's pretty much it, I guess. Toodles till tomorrow! (Ooh, alliteration!)

Song of the day: Terri Clark - A Little Gasoline

Happy November! I've had a pretty packed eening, since I went to the library after school to get a sneak peek at their next sale (my mum volunteers with the group that sets the book sales up and so gets to access it before everyone else), and I found a new Charlotte Brontë book, The Professor (well, not exactly new) and a couple other things, plus I rescued a late 90s Internet for Dummies book from the recycling. I'll be sure to put it up on this site soon! Anyways, after that, I was at home for an hour and fifteen minutes before going to a university counseling thing from my school, and then dinner, and then I went home and took a shower, so I haven't had much free time tonight. So yeah.

Anyways, I had one of my favourite substitutes for History of Rock n Roll, and it was a work period, so we mostly just chilled once I finished my work. So yeah, that was cool! I chatted with her about the Brontë books for a couple minutes, and it was just generally chill. And I found out that my psych test, which I thought was Thursday, is actually next week! So I'm pretty psyched (wocka wocka?) about that! Or I guess relieved is the better word, but that's not punny enough.

So yeah, that's pretty much it, I guess. Toodles till tomorrow! (Ooh, alliteration!)
