I Love Legolas! :)

If you happen to be my best friend or the little man that lives inside my computer cataloguing my search history, you saw this one coming! From my very first memory of Lord of the Rings, when we watched the Battle of Helm's Deep in my Latin class because it was apparently reminiscent of a battle between Caesar's Romans and some Gauls, Legolas captivated me. And since Blue got me to watch Lord of the Rings with him, I became quite enamoured with Legolas. For one, he's both beautiful and handsome. Of course, all the elves have something of the ethereal about them, but Legolas as portrayed by Orlando Bloom also has quite the sharp jawline and sharp features in general that lend him an air of decided but not over-the-top masculinity that make him absolutely gorgey.

Furthermore, his often wordy way of speaking (that, from what I know, seems to be common amongst elves in LOTR's universe) appeals to me greatly! Elves don't tend to be overly emotional, but we see Legolas defy these expectations throughout the movies. I feel like Legolas is probably rather sentimental at his core, and I feel like he'd also be quite romantic (though privately so) should someone ever be so lucky as to date him. And being a hopeless romantic all my life---(sorry, I had to stop myself before I burst into a k-pop song)---that really appeals to me! Besides, I'm not normally susceptible to guys doing badarse things to impress girls (really badarse or imagined to be so---no, sir, removing the muffle on your 2003 Honda Civic is not attractive), but Legolas with his bow and arrows is just so cool that it adds to all the ways he entrances me!
