Don't expect this to be so long and in-depth as my other shrines, since this is an extremely personal topic matter, but I felt that if I was going to be making shrines, I might as well make a literal shrine! Jokes aside, my faith is really important to me as a person and I think to make a site that is, as my essay "The Web-Site: A Modern Self-Portrait" says, a self-portrait, I would be remiss not to include my faith.
I don't remember exactly when, but, after being an atheist since I was a child, I became a Christian about halfway through 7th grade, and became much more devout during the coronavirus lockdown. I started attending a local church via livestream at Christmas 2020, and have been ever since. I take daily time to read the Bible and praay, and find that it gives me peace to share even my innermost secrets, hopes and fears with God and to know that, as a bookmark I have says, "if God brings you to it He will bring you through it". Hope and love are the backbones of the human experience, and God gives me both.
If you want to read the Bible yourself, I recommend this link to the YouVersion Bible Web-site. Their plans help you read a little each day, and there are many connected to whatever struggle you're going through. Also, if you want to learn more about Christianity, I highly recommend this page from a fellow Neocitizen. God bless you!
