Hello! My name is Ug, and welcome to my site! Last week, when my camp and I were out trying to find some berries (yum), some weird spiral vortex opened up, and dropped this box called a "computer" out of nowhere. I've always had a mind for technology (I was even the first in our camp to build an ax!) and so I popped around with the computer until I figured out how to use it and connect to the Net. Please scroll throughout my site and read about all the things I like! From what I've read, a lot of you don't have these things, so wherever you are, I hope you can learn about me. Here's a picture of me below! :)
Here's a video of my trusty mammoth companion, Guk! I haven't taught him many tricks---about all he knows are "sit" and "stab".
Here are some of my favourite drawings by the others in my camp! All credit to the original artists. If they ever figure out how to use the computer, I intend to eventually like to their sites too.
This is a drawing of me and my brothers, Bug and Fug, on Fug's birthday last year. I think it's really cool how lifelike it is! Sadly, we didn't get a drawing of Fug opening his presents---that new fire stuff I got him really scorched his loincloth off! But we got a drawing of the next best part---the conga line!
This is a drawing of last year's solstice horse races! I bet on the horse in the middle, Tok, my favourite pony. I like to ride him around when we're not out hunting or doing other tasks. It's so fun to see all there is in this area we've been roaming around! It almost makes me wonder if we could find a way to stay here and live off the land... nah, it's probably too far-fetched and impossible to ever happen.
We made this with all our handprints a while ago in a nearby area to lay claim to a cave where we kept all our furs and meats. There's this other group, a bunch of very nasty people, who kept claiming they couldn't tell our supply caves apart! So of course, we had to lay our claim to a cave. Well, they copied it and kept pretending to get mixed up! So eventually we gave up and let them have the land. I wonder if we could ever find something ever better than stone to get back at them with?
This is something my girlfriend, Cak, made me for my birthday last year. It looks just like the buffalo my parents kept as a pet for us kids when I was young! Of course, the rest of our camp eventually got mad that they were hoarding what could be meat, and so they killed it... not a fun time. But I always wanted to remember him even better, so now I can!
I hope you enjoyed looking through my page! Please check back soon for tips on how to find the best berries and how to make loincloths out of rhinoceros wool. Thanks! -Ug
