Finally, February is almost over! This month has (ironically? I hope I'm using that right) felt like one of the longest months ever, like March 2020. We went from getting ridiculous amounts of snow to being too warm, and now it's finally pretty cool but not too cold again.
Also, in terms of my plans for this site, I think I want to do another album review today, so watch out for that! Since Verivery are having a comeback on Tuesday, I also want to do a review of that once it comes out, so I'm super excited for that as well! Of course, I'll keep updating this blog, and I've also been adding new sites to my links page every few days, so keep watching for that! Also, I'm considering making a writing page to put a few poems or short stories that I've created on this site, so I'll post on my page if I decide to add that.
This is super random but I just remembered an episode of Dog With A Blog where the family had an entire conversation about the difference between jelly, jam and preserves. Anyways, that's not really the point of this post. So the past day or two, I've been reading Pride and Prejudice, and honestly, Jane Austen should've written comedy. Like seriously, listen to this:

I don't know why, but that's just so funny to me? Anyways, I'm having cheese tortellini with pesto sauce for dinner, so I'm super excited!
So the past few days I've been listening a ton to Dongheon and Yeonho from Verivery's cover of Love Confession by Jay Chou, and it's SO AMAZING. Like honestly just listen for yourself, it's so good!
So I'm watching Great British Bake Off right now, and I love the way that once one of the contestants said he was putting gin in his cake, Mary's face immediately lit up. Also, I'm super sad that Mary, Mel and Sue aren't on the show anymore. :( But either way, I'm super excited to see where this season goes!
So in my physics class, we just went outside for some sort of lab/experiment thing where we threw eggs at whiteboards and sheets, and at the end he let us all throw an egg at the whiteboard to get out our frustration. Me being me, I naturally missed both times and threw it into the land/yard/whatever it is next to my school, so I didn't get to have as much satisfaction of throwing an egg at a whiteboard. But either way it was fun!
So today at school, I got my copy of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, which I'm going to read for my philosophy class! I'm honestly kind of excited, because I've heard that it's quite a good book. Also, I've been doing some more writing today, as always, and I think that I'm going pretty well so far! Also, I miss late 90s/early 2000s fashion. Like frosted lip gloss looks super cute!
I want a boyfrienddddd omg. Anyways I went to the dentist yesterday and not much else has happened today but it's been a pretty good day!

So today I found out that my winter holiday isn't for about another month and a few days. :( So I'll have to deal with almost-nonstop school longer than I thought I would have to. THankfully though, a couple weeks from now I get two Fridays off! Also, since last night I've been rereading this fic on Wattpad (it's not a fanfic) I read a few years ago called Baked Love, and it's actually pretty good, which is certainly surprising for something on the infamous Wattpad platform. Anyways, I'm gonna go do some reading and writing, so talk to you later!
I want a Subway sandwich so much right now. Also I love Sprite omg. Also, I listened to Oops!... I Did It Again and Britney (the albums) by Britney Spears today, and they're so amazing! Also, Minchan wrote a letter on the fancafe! I hope he gets better soon!
Also, as a sidenote, I hate that you have to type in a specific code in your HTML editor to get accents or some special characters to display on your web page. I just want to have some French on my website but I have to constantly search to see what code corresponds with which character!
Finally, I've been doing some more writing today, and I really think it'd be super cool to make a page on this site with some of my writing! I've also been thinking about extracurriculars recently, despite the fact that my school doesn't really have any this year (for obvious reasons), but still, I hope there's some sort of writing club or something next year!
I do not want to go back to school. Thankfully spring break is only a couple weeks away! But yeah, I'm really tired of school at this point. Also, I want to bake some French bread and some oven-roasted potato wedges, both of those are so delicious!
So I had a physics test today (ugh), but thankfully, most of us got confused on one question so the teacher said we don't have to do it! :)

Also my history class today talked about job automation/AI and that kind of stuff and I kind of want to make an article talking about it but I have a bit too much to procrastinate on right now, so I might do that tomorrow or some time else!

I have a snow day! The final draft of my essay is due tomorrow, so I'm going to work on that, plus I have a philosophy project that I have to finish, but other than that, I don't have anything that I really need to do today!
So this evening I watched The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement and it was super cool! Now I just wish I could have a prince charming come and sweep me off my feet! But alas, for now I can only dream. In the meantime, I'm gonna get excited for Verivery's comeback!

Also, for some reason I woke up at 6:30 AM and remembered that I forgot to cite my sources on my essay. Shite. But at this point, there's not really anything that I can do about that until I do my final draft. (Actually, never mind -- I snuck it in and I don't think that my teacher reviewed it yet.)
In other news, I want to read the Divine Comedy by Dante, but the only translation I found that I can download for free is utterly confusing and hard to read. I also read Plato's Republic recently for school, and that also suffered from the same issue. It's translated into modern English, yet somehow (my bet is the tone that it's written in), it's just hard to read and grasp like I would read and grasp a normal novel. Maybe the poetic nature also has something to do with it as both were written in stanzas and rhymes? I think that may be the problem with Dante but Plato definitely needed a tone adjustment as well.
Anyway, for understanding a lot of classic (and modern classic) novels, I discovered a cool YouTube channel a while ago called Overly Sarcastic Productions. It's run by these two people, and one covers a lot of novels and literary tropes, and the other talks about history! They're super helpful and super cool!

Anyways, I think that this has been a Monday well spent. I wrote some, watched some Designing Women, and worked on this site! Anyways I want a boyfriend.

Finally a Monday without school! This is definitely a well-needed holiday, I don't know if I could stand all the schoolwork that much longer. I also get tomorrow off, so I finally have a 4-day weekend. Also, i heard a rumour that the new director of my school is supposedly 'against snow days', which is apparently why I haven't been getting any snow days even though it's been snowing like there's no tomorrow. At least that kind of explains that, but I still don't understand how someone can be 'against' snow days. Snow days are literally some of the best things ever.

So this morning you might've noticed that I added pages to the blog, which I did so I don't end up with like 53 posts on one page. I've also been watching a lot of unsolved mysteries/internet mysteries on YouTube, because they've been super interesting to me recently. It's a bit odd that I like them so much, since I've never been one for horror/creepy things, but they're just so... interesting??? Anyways I'm gonna go watch some more and do some writing, so ttyl!

So I've been doing a ton of writing today! I haven't shared any of my writing yet but I might someday! Anyways I have a super cool idea that I'm pretty excited to write! Also, I recently revamped the site in case you didn't notice, so basically what I did is I made all the text pretty and justified, plus I got rid of the navbar on the top and made it a sidebar, plus some other various changes around the site. But yeah, I think that this new version of the site is super cool and I hope that you all do too!

Last night it also snowed quite a bit, and the public schools around me all closed, yet for some unknown idiotic reason, my school is still open. PLUS I have an algebra test today and I still have a cold. At this point I kind of think that my school just wants us students to suffer and nothing else. D:
So by now I'm sure that I have a cold. I did end up managing to to the writing I needed to do, but I'm in school in-person right now (my school has been in-person with social distancing most of the school year) even though it snowed a few centimentres. For once can the city be less proactive with their snow ploughing? I am not in the mood to be at school right now but oh well, I guess.
Once again I say: ugh. I'm pretty sure I have a cold, so that's lovely. But aside from that the only thing really happening is that I have to somehow write most of a page of an essay about the Ramayana today which is going to be a little dreadful.
Ugh.
iCloud drive acted up on me this morning, so I had to resync it, which it's doing right now. ugh.
I am having a DAY so far. Some of my messages randomly aren't sending and also, I'm at school but I forgot my headphones at home so I can't watch YouTube or listen to music in class. >:( ugh.
